Apple MacBook Air 2018 launched with Retina Display and Touch ID
Apple in an event on October 30, 2018 held in Brooklyn, New York launched its three main products, Apple iPads 2018 and Apple MacBook Air. Apple MacBook Air in 2018 is the upgraded version of MacBook Air 2017. This 13.3″ of MacBook Air has now Retina Display and screen resolution is 4 times the resolution of MacBook Air 2017.
2018 MacBook Air is finished with 100% recycled Aluminium and bezels are more thin. MacBook Air is lightweight with just 2.75 pounds and 1.24 kg of weight. 2018 MacBook Air price starts at $1199 (£1,199, AU$1,849).
Similar to MacBook Air 12-inch, MacBook Air 13.3-inch has Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports followed by headphone jack. The Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports supports the external displays of 5k resolution and also supports eGPUs for better graphical interface and performance.
2018 MacBook Air is powered by Intel 8th-gen Dual-core i5 processor, which is coupled with either 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal. MacBook Air 2018 has 13.3″ of Retina Display that measures the screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The storage of the new MacBook hits up to the 1.5 TB of SSD.

Battery of MacBook Air is capable to withstand 12 hours of web browsing and 13 hours of iTunes movie playback. In order to supports Touch ID and Siri, Apple added T2 security chips in its hardware configuration. T2 also supports SSD controller for on-the-fly data encryption.
MacBook Air 2018 has a third gen butterfly keyboard and is coupled with Force Touch Trackpad, which 20% wider than last year MacBook Air.
