BMW-Bike launching on December in Nepal

With the co-ordination of TVS-motor, BMW Motorad is launching their bikes focusing mainly India and Nepal. BMW already launched its bikes in India and launching soon in Nepal as well. The exact date for launching the bikes has not announced yet, but it is confirmed that BMW-bikes is coming to Nepal in December. Turbo Motor is the authorized distributor of BMW bikes in Nepal.

At the starting phase, Turbo Motor is launching BMW G-310 GS and BMW G-310 R in Nepal. These bikes were already launched in India and available at INR. 3.49 Lakh and INR 2.99 Lakh respectively.

Both BMW G-310 GS and BMW G-310 R is powered by 313 cc of Single Cylinder Liquid-Cooled engine that chunks out maximum power of 34 PS@ 9500 rpm and Maximum Torque 28 Nm@7500 rpm. This bikes is performing well in off and On-roads. The maximum speed this bike hit is 143 kmph. This bikes features Dual channel ABS. Both bikes has 6-speed gearbox.

There is not huge different between these bikes.The major difference seen in these bikes are Seat Height, Chasis Type, size of wheels, Dimensions and width.

BMW G-310 GS has 835 mm of seat height while BMW G-310 R has 785 mm of seat height. BMW G-310 GS has Chassis type of Tubular steel frame with bolted rear frame, while BMW G-310 R has Chassis type of Bolted steel frame and tubular steel rear frame with drive unit load-bearing. BMW G-310 GS has 17 inch of Alloy wheels and 19 inch of Alloy wheels in BMW G-310 R. BMW G-310 GS has kerb weight of 169 kg and BMW G-310 R has kerb weight of 158 kg.

In Nepal, the bike is coming in December. Looking at the price in India, the bikes in Nepal costs above Rs.10 lakh (expected).
