Microsoft announces cheapest 10″ Windows Tablet- Surface Go | specs, price

Microsoft finally launched the cheapest tablet, that now supports windows features. Microsoft Surface Go is the 2 in 1 hybrid laptop. Few months back ago, Apple launched the cheapest iPad ever, and now Microsoft also launched the cheapest tablet, that’s the half the price of Microsoft Surface Pro. 2018 Microsoft Surface Go is the hybrid tablet, that now supports Windows and Android features.

Microsoft Surface Go is the 10 inch hybrid laptop, that comes with 8.3mm of thickness and weighs 522g. Microsoft Surface Go comes in two different color variant, one with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD memory and other with 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD memory. Both variant has 64GB eMMC .The 4GB variant costs $399 and that of 8GB variant costs $599. Similarly, There is variant in price tag as well, the surface Go in US starts at $399 and $380 in UK. These price is the half the price of the Microsoft Surface Pro.

According to the Chief product officer for Microsoft Mr.Panos Panay,” Surface Go is small and mighty, giving you the performance you need to be productive”.

Microsoft Surface Go is powered by Intel’s 7th generation Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor. With its 10 inch of display size, the Go has 1800 x 1200 pixels of screen resolution (i.e 3:2 aspect ratio).  The Surface Go now has both USB-C 3.1 and Microsoft Surface Connector ports, also Surface Go supports microSD card slot and headphone socket. The front facing camera that is available, can be used for unlocking the devices with facial unlocking features.

As in Windows 10, You can customize the 3:2 touchscreen display. Surface Go supports the split-screen, multitasking features as in Windows 10. Microsoft aims in balancing the performance along with the power life. As per the company Surface Go can withstand battery life 9 hours.
