Oppo Realme 1 launched: budget killer smartphone

Oppo introduced its sub-brand called “Realme” by launching the first smartphone with the tag Realme at the back face of the phone rather than the Oppo. The new budget killer smartphone launched by Oppo’s sub-brand Realme is “Oppo Realme 1”. Realme launched this smartphone in three different variant of memory, 6/128GB , 4/64GB and 3/32GB and three different color variant Diamond Black, Solar Red and Moonlight Silver. With the premium platinum looks at the back face of the phone, i.e the phone has angle reflective surface at the back, that makes the phone to look premium.

Realme 1 comes with 6.0″ IPS LCD display. Noticing the lack of bezels at the side of the phone, Realme 1 comes with 1080 by 2160 pixels of screen resolution i.e. 18:9 aspect ratio.

Realme 1 is equipped with Octa-core CPU processor supported with MediaTek chipset and Mali-G72 GPU, and the smartphone is powered by 3/4/6GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of internal memory. With the dedicated micro SD card you can expand memory upto 256GB and Realme 1 supports dual sim and SD card at the same time. The phone runs ColorOS 5.0 on the top of Android 8.1 (OREO).

Noticing the top front face of the phone along with the speaker the phone has 8MP of front camera with f/2.2 aperture of lens. Similarly along with the Oppo’s Sub brand tag Realme, the phone has 13 MP of rear camera equipped with autofocus phase detection and touch focus. You can shoot the video of 1080p quality at 30fps.

Besides the performance, display and camera, the phone has face unlock features, supports dual sim and one SD Card at a time and has microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 and 3410 mAh non-removable Li-ion battery.

Oppo Realme 1 is a budget smartphone, we could not expect more than the above listed specifications. The smartphone has Helio P20 processor which is quite impressive. Because of the available camera, battery, display, memory and chipset, the phone directly jumps right into next level. With fast facial unlock features, Oppo confidentially remove the fingerprint sensor from the phone. Though you need pin or password in low light, but works perfectly fine and fast in average or bright light. When you hold this phone in your palm, it feels like you are holding a premium phone rather than the budget phone. But somehow if the phone has miss some thing in camera. Hope next year the phone has good and impressive camera.
