Sony Xperia L2 launched in Nepal with the starting price of Rs.26,000 and wide-angle selfie camera

Looking back at the CES 2018, along with the different flagship phones from different company Sony launched the new flagship smartphone Sony Xperia L2. Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra are another two smartphone which arrives along with the Sony Xperia L2. But in Nepal, Only Xperia L2 is arrived and the price tagged for this smartphones in Nepal is Rs.26,000.

Xperia L2 in Nepal arrives with 5.5-inch of HD IPS LCD display. Compairing this smartphones with other phones of Sony, we could notice the nearly bezelless display. With such less bezels, the phone has 720 by 1280 pixels of screen resolution i.e. 16:9 scren-to-body ratio. The front glass of the smartphones is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Sony Xperia L2 is equipped with 1.5 GHz quad-core processor supported with Mali-T720MP2 GPU and Mediatek chipset powered by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The internal memory can be expanded upto 256GB. The phone runs Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system.

Talking about the camera of the phone, aside the name of brand we could notice 8MP of front camera with f/2.4 aperture of lens and at the back of the phone along with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor we could notice 13MP of rear camera with f/2.0 aperture of lens, which is aligned vertically. You can record 1080p of video quality at 30fps.

Besides the performance, camera and looks, Sony Xperia L2 has 3300 mAh of non-removable Li-ion battery powering system in the phone. The phone supports USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0, Wi-Fi 801.11 and dual sim .

Looking at the previous products of Sony, they all have got nice rating from expert users. Talking about this Sony Xperia L2, its a new flagship phone from sony and has got the nice specifications as well. But because of the old Mediatek chipset, the phone performace rating might get reduced. Similarly, in the field of the Camera, the phone still cannot afford it. Samsung J7 Duo and Oppo A83 is the main competitive smartphones for it. As though all has got the nearly same specifications, but somehow Samsung and Oppo feels like the better device than the Sony Xperia L2. Comparatively, Samsung J7 Duo and Oppo a83 beats up the Sony Xperia L2 in every fields like, camera, performance and memory.

In my opinion, Sony Xperia L2 has not got the any new features and specifications, so do look for the other device and review it before going for this device.
