The New Mercedes Benz with its own voice – Hey Mercedes 2019

Siri, Google Assistant, Cortana, Alexa, Bixby. We are spoilt for choices when it comes to voices on our phones. This voice assistant technology has been making its way to automobiles as well.

A swath of companies say they’ve partnered with Amazon Alexa or added Google Assistant to their infotainment systems. But the German automaker says it built with its own voice assistant, along with a new user experience for drivers. Mercedes has integrated a voice assistant that user can interact to work the air conditioner, to send a text message, to navigate and much more. Plus the system is almost production ready and it requires you to say “Hey Mercedes”… I still can’t imagine sitting in that Mercedes and going “Hey Google” and “Hey Mercedes”.
