IOE Increased the number of seats to study Engineering in Nepal: Total 1872
Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering (IOE) introduced first time Computer Engineering in Thapathali Campus. Before this year, there is no any course related to Computer Engineering in Thapathali campus. Now along with Pulchowk Campus in Kathamandu Valley students who wants to study Computer Engineering in Nepal can study in Thapathali Campus as well. Thapthali Campus is owned and run by Institute of Engineering. Tribhuvan University has 4 Constitutent Campus in Nepal. Thapathali Campus and Pulchowk Campus in Kathmandu, Purwanchal Campus in Dharan and Paschimanchal Campus in Pokhara.
Institute of Engineering increase the number of Student seats in Constituent Campus. In the previous year the Total number of seats avaialble for B.Engineering in Nepal is 1536, but now the 336 number of seats has been increased and total number of seats available to study Engineering in Nepal is now 1872.
On the academic year 2075/76, Institute of Engineering introduced new engineering course in Nepal called “AeroSpace Engineering“. Only 48 seats is available for this program and only introduced in Pulchowk Campus. Besides the introduction of New course, Institute of Engineering increased the certain number of seats in some academic program. In Pulchowk Campus, IOE introduced new course and also increased 48 number of seats in Computer Engineering.Thapathali Campus introduced Computer Engineering first time with 48 number of seats and increased 48 number of seats in Civil Engineering. Similarly Paschimanchal Campus increased the 48 number of seats in Automobile Engineering and Purwanchal Campus increased the 48 number of seats in Mechanical and Computer Engineering.
