Tech news- CAN Federation to issue 1.8 Crore ICT Scholarship 2075 | Apply now
Federation of Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) is set to issue the ICT Scholarship 2075 worth Rs.1.8 Crore in collaboration with Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF) supported by Patan college.
In the press meet, President of CAN Mr.Hemant Chaurasiya and Chairperson of LBEF Mr.Pankaj Jalan announced that, the ICT scholarship is provided to 49 students, among which at least one student must be from one state. i.e. 7 Students from 7 states must be rewarded with this scholarship.Similarly, among 49 seats, 28 seats are reserved for girls and remaining for others. One female student from one state must awarded with full scholarship and other with the partial scholarship. The main aim of this scholarship is to help and uplift the economically back students, who are willing to study computer science.

Criteria for qualifying in Scholarship
- Must have passed 10+2 in not less than 50% or Diploma in Computer Engineering from CTVET.
- The scholarship is awarded only those students who are willing to study Bsc. (Hons) in information Technology at LBEF Campus.
Rules to get Scholarship in every semester.
- Scholarship is awarded semester wise, so students must need to pass all the exam papers in order to get scholarship in next semester.
- Attendance must be maintained above 85% in previous and current semester.
- Scholarship is awarded to single child from a single family.
- Misbehaviour of students, Undisciplined,violation of terms and condition and wrong information, may cancel the scholarship.

- Recommendation letter from local authority.
The candidates for the Scholarship is selected by forming the committee under the authorization of CAN Federations.;
