Five Things You Should Know About Shrinkhala Khatiwada

Shrinkhala Khatiwada is a 22 years old Miss World contestant of 2018 global competition. Shrinkhala is the 2018 Miss Nepal and hails originally from Hetauda.

She speaks three languages: Nepalese, English, and Hindi. Shrinkhala has a degree in Architecture and is currently working as an architect. She is also the National Chancellor for the International Association of Educators for World Peace and President of The One Home Foundation. Ms. Khatiwada enjoys writing, reading, traveling, and trekking. She can also compose poetry very quickly and has been writing a children’s novel. Her personal motto is: “You can do it”.

Here are five things about Shrinkhala Khatiwada that you should know: 

1) She started school at the age of two and She practically started at the same time as her older brother. They grew up as twins even though they’re not — with the same circle of friends and the same level of education in classrooms.

2) Growing up, She wanted to be a pilot (until 10th standard) but She become an architect now.

3) As a child, She used to love cats but as grown up she become more of a dog person.

4) When she was young she thinks that she could easily learn how to ride a bike but she never knew how to put the brakes on — it took her two years to learn how to put the brakes on when riding bicycle.

5) When she was young, she loved composing songs and could compose a song with five minutes notice.
