Namaste Credit (Loan Sapati) service is now available in NTC prepaid users.

Recently in the 4th anniversary of Nepal Telecom, NTC issues a notice regarding Namaste Credit service. This service is launched so that users can continue the service even if they were having low balance or zero balance. i.e. now NT users can enjoy a loan service of NTC through voice, data or SMS. Users will not be charged any amount for this service.

The debt amount is recovered in the next Top-up. SMS shortcode of Namaste credit is 1477.

In GSM or CDMA prepaid SIM,  this service is automatically activated. To check whether the service is activated or not:- type STATUS and send it to 1477.

To deactivate type STOP and send it to 1477 and to reactivate type START and send it to 1477.

To know the maximum credit limit ,remaining credit balance and credit debt which you had used type STATUS and send it to 1477.

This service is available for all NT prepaid users.

“Congratulations, now you have Rs X.XX credit of NAMASTE CREDIT. No calldrop and no service charge, enjoy!” this message pop-up when you are eligible for Namaste credit.

“We have deducted Rs XX.XX from your main balance against NAMASTE CREDIT” this message pop-up when NT deducts the credit amount from your main balance.

The credit limit is from Rs.5 to Rs.40.
