Asus ROG Zephyrus S | World’s Most Thinnest Gaming Laptop 2019

Introducing the world’s thinnest and slimmest gaming laptop the new ASUS ROG Zephyrus S. The ASUS ROG Zephyrus S gaming notebook has a thickness of less than 16 mm. The company ASUS introduced in the product family Republic of Gamers (ROG) a new thin gaming laptop – the Zephyrus S, which will go on sale next month. The laptop is equipped with a 15.6-inch Full HD display (1920 × 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 3 ms. A 100% coverage of the sRGB color space is claimed.

The new thinnest gaming laptop ASUS ROG Zephyrus S uses the hardware platform Intel Coffee Lake-H: a six-core processor Core i7-8750H is used. This 14- nano-meter chip operates at a nominal frequency of 2.2 GHz with the ability to dynamically increase to 4.1 GHz. The technology of multi-threading is supported. Buyers will be able to choose between modifications with a discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q (8 GB of GDDR5 memory) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB of GDDR5 memory).

A fast solid-state M.2 NVMe module with a capacity of up to 1 TB is responsible for data storage. The amount of RAM DDR4-2666 is 16 or 24 GB. ASUS ROG Zephyrus S is one of the thinnest gaming notebooks in its class: the thickness of the case is 14.95-15.75 mm (other dimensions – 360 × 268 mm). The device weighs approximately 2.1 kg.
