Bluetooth is a widely used wireless technology most probably In every electronics device like, laptop, mobile, headphones, speakers etc. Bluetooth is mainly developed for exchanging data over short distances. Invented by telecom vendor Ericson in 1994.Bluetooth is managed and controlled by the Bluetooth special Interest Group (SIG), which runs by 30,000 staffs of the companies in the areas of telecommunication, computing, networking, and consumer electronics.

Nowadays we are able to found a Bluetooth in every types Gadgets such as: Mobiles, Tablets, earphone, Laptop, Computers, speakers ,so on but we don’t  know that there are different types of version of it like Bluetooth 1,1.1,1.2,2,2.1,3.0,4,4.1,4.2 and last one as well as the latest invention Bluetooth 5.0.The Bluetooth SIG officially announces the Bluetooth 5 during a media event held in London on 16 June 2016.

Samsung announced that Samsung galaxy S8 is the first phone which got a Bluetooth 5 in April 2017. In September 2017 the Iphone 8, 8 plus and iphone x also launched its mobile devices with Bluetooth 5 supported. There are lots of merits of having the Bluetooth 5 in smart phone like Samsung galaxy S8 and iphone 8, 8 plus and iphone X. Bluetooth 5 got 3 major advantages.

It is 2x faster pairing with other Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth5.0 solved a bit on the delay of connecting to other gadgets so data transfer rate is also faster

It got a four time (4 x) range is with a direct line of sight 200 meters on Outdoors and 40 meter on indoors that’s a legitimate serious but normal Bluetooth version was about 50 meters with a direct line of sight and indoors 10 meters.

It can connect with Different bluetooth devices at a same time but you have sure that both devices are connected with it.

Bluetooth and WIFI have some similar applications: setting up networks, printing, or transferring files. Wi-Fi is intended as a replacement for high-speed cabling for general Local area connection access in work areas or home.). Bluetooth was intended for portable or handheld devices like mobile tablet etc and its applications.
