- Birthday notifications:
Birthday notifications are a very useful feature that is provided by Facebook to it’s users. This allows user to be updated about the birthdays of their loved ones. But if you have a huge number of friends on Facebook and your phone starts to blow with birthday notifications, it can be quite intimidating. To get rid of birthday notification you will have to follow these simple steps.
- Go to ‘Settings’
- Go to ‘Birthdays’.
- Switch the open beside it to ‘Off’.
- Make your profile picture unclick able:
Many do not know about this but you can make your Facebook profile picture unclick able. This is very simple yet very effective way to prevent unknown people from downloading to doing something with your picture however your friend will be able to see and click on your profile picture. First click on your profile picture and click on the globe icon (top right corner). Click on ‘friends’ and the picture will become unclick able for people who are not your friends. But make sure to do this to each and every picture which included the cover photo and previous profile pictures.
- Block certain people from seeing certain posts:
There are times when you want to post some picture or posts on Facebook but are not able to because of certain friend or a family member. With this simple trick you can prevent those people from seeing the certain post. For this you need to create a list (e.g. Family). Enter the name of the people whom you want to prevent from seeing certain posts and add them to the list. To prevent these people from seeing some post you can simply click on the list while posting using ‘More options’ and change the option to ‘Custom’. Enter the name of the list and disable them from seeing the post.
