YouTube celebrated end of 2016

For many YouTube is only a website where they can view different videos. But for people working inside YouTube, it is a community.  There are thousands of people from all over the world who are creators on YouTube and they are the ones who make YouTube.

So, at the end of every year, YouTube celebrates by making a few minute long video and uploading it on their website. The video us called ‘YouTube Rewind’ and it features the most popular and most viewed songs on YouTube. The video also features the most popular You Tubers and also the trendiest videos that have been uploaded on YouTube.

2017 is almost here and this year too, YouTube has made a new video to celebrate the end of 2016. This year’s YouTube Rewind is very special as the video has been opened by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as this year, the former WWE wrestler and actor started his very own YouTube Channel.

The video also features some popular and highly viewed songs of the year i.e. ‘Sorry’ by Justin Bieber and Work From Home by The Fifth Harmony. The music video is very interesting and features the most popular and the biggest You Tuber ‘Pewdiepie’ (Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg) followed by ‘iiSuperwomanii’ (Lilly Singh).

Other popular YouTubers like ‘Rclbeauty101’, Rett and Link from ‘Good Mythical Morning’ have also been featured in the part of the video where they play the scene from Ariana Grande’s Side to Side.

Apart from that, the video also features Korean singer Kosaka Daimaou whose funny song PPAP (Pen Pineapple Apple Pen) went viral on the internet. The video is very fun and like every year, YouTube celebrated another year of success and togetherness through the almost 7 minute long video.
